sun, sun burning bright

the room has been set. the curtains now hang over the windows. took sum effort to clean it up n make it worth fr a human to stay comfortably. room is quite spacious n i hv the luxury of a balcony in the room. the food here in the mess is also decent, much better than the crap i had at nsit hostel. tuchhas say people generally put on sum weight provided u can manage time fr hving food...:). a lot of scary stories r doin rounds here n the tuchhas enjoy hving a sadistic smile on their faces while 'enthralling' us with those stories. after all they hv passed thru the same phase a year earlier in their life.

at present i m having a 'relaxed' kinda life here. just making frnds with the guys who hv been already here fr their prepratory courses. the atmosphere here is pretty cool, sumtimes reminding of the lull before the storm. the only problem which i am facing presently is heat.

i hv just come out of bathroom after taking a 3rd bath today. not tht i m tht kind of person who considers bathing to be a pretty useless activity. but it is really hot out here. if delhi is hot then this place is really a furnace. the temperatures hv been soaring n the room fan seems to be sending the flames of fire. the coolers r not allowed in the student rooms. so u wud see a lot of guys moving 'topless' in the dorm. people try out different tactics to beat the heat here. the 'air conditioned' library here is used fr 2 purposes - one fr extracting gyan frm the unending rows n columns of the books n other, more importantly, beating the heat. u can easily find a no of guys sleeping here with those thick books acting as a pillow. tuchhas say tht it takes sumtime to get acclimatised with this place. chalo lets hope i make it fast.

n this bathing seems to be one of them. not exactly forced on me , but the no of times i hv to perform this act makes me scared.
